Tamacá offers direct access to the beach, a large swimming pool with bar service and sea views from all rooms. It offers free WiFi, a menu of dishes and a beauty salon on site.
At Tamacá Beach Resort, guests can enjoy a 4-star Caribbean style décor in Santa Marta, overlooking Rodadero Bay.
The rooms feature flat-screen TVs with satellite signal, air conditioning and minibar. They are furnished with vibrant colored bed covers and some have spacious balconies with hammocks.
A buffet breakfast with tropical fruits and coffee is offered every day. Má Anasú Restaurant serves typical regional dishes. Guests can enjoy drinks on the terrace next to the garden.
Santa Marta city centre is a 20-minute drive away, and Simón Bolívar Airport is 20 minutes from the complex. Parking is free of charge and no booking is required.
Foreign visitors and Colombians residing outside the country are exempt from the payment of 19% VAT when contracting a tourist package (accommodation and services). They must pay only an 8% consumption tax. Upon arrival, they must present a tourist visa TP-11 or a 5/PTP-5 permit. According to article 17 of Law 679 of 2001, the exploitation and sexual abuse of minors in the country are considered criminal and civil offences under the current legislation. Children must be accompanied by their parents and present an identity document. If they travel accompanied by another adult without family ties or by another relative, they must also submit a signed authorization to the notary by both parents.
Tamacá Beach Resort is not a pet-friendly hotel. Only one (1) pet per room is allowed, with a maximum weight of 15 kg, and only in exceptional cases when the guest presents a valid certificate of emotional support and current vaccination record. Pet admission must be inquired about and confirmed with the hotel in advance and incurs a charge of COP $100,000 per night, including VAT.
