The Irotama Hotel complies with Colombian laws that protect minors from all forms of exploitation and sexual violence caused by domestic or foreign tourists. Contraventions to this principle entail criminal and administrative sanctions provided for in Law 679 of August 2001. Minors must register in the company of one of their parents by presenting their civil birth registration, which allows them to verify the degree of kinship in the first degree of consanguinity (parent - child) and if they are someone else, they must be an adult, who must submit the authorization in writing duly authenticated by a notary by one of the parents who appear in the civil birth register or equivalent document for foreign minors, attaching the original identification document of the responsible parent. In this case, the hotel reserves the right to deny entry to persons with minors when the above is not duly accredited or anomalies are observed; it is also entitled to request the support of the police or authorities to verify any situation it considers abnormal because the hotel is committed to preventing ESCNNA.
