This comfortable Hotel is Nestled in the foothills of the Franschhoek Mountains, Val d'Or Estate is surrounded by lush gardens and vineyards. Featuring elegant guestrooms and a pool terrace, it is 5 km from Franschhoek's town centre. Offering panoramic mountain and garden views, each room at the Val d'Or is decorated with traditional wooden furniture and fine coloured fabrics. All of them have a satellite TV, while most of the bathrooms have bath and shower. Guests can sip a cocktail at the bar overlooking vineyards and mountains, or book one of the different massages available in the property. Activities in the area include golf, trout fishing and horse riding. Paarl and Stellenbosch are less than 30 minutes' drive from the property, offering larger shopping malls and other attractions.
