Iberostar Waves Paraíso Beach is an all-inclusive Mexican colonial-style hotel located in Playa Paraíso in the Riviera Maya. The resort's location allows you to enjoy the lively atmosphere of Playa del Carmen and the tranquility of the fishing town of Puerto Morelos. Additionally, Cancun International Airport (CUN) is only 36 kilometers away. Iberostar Waves Paraíso Beach offers 488 spacious rooms. The rooms are equipped with a terrace, telephone, cable TV, air conditioning, ceiling fan, safe, coffee maker, minibar, hairdryer and private bathroom. Iberostar Waves Paraíso Beach has a large pool area, a separate children's pool, an 18-hole golf course, a diving center and a gym. In addition, it offers daily activities such as kayaking, tennis and even archery and target shooting tournaments. For relaxation, the hotel also has a spa. Children can have fun with Star Camp activities, developed based on different types of intelligence and divided into three age categories. Business travelers can use the spacious meeting rooms. The hotel's gastronomic offer is very wide; it has two restaurants offering an international buffet with cooking shows, six themed restaurants, nine bars and a nightclub. ***The reservation holder must show official photo identification. ***As of April 1, 2026, it will be mandatory to show the CURP at check-in for all guests with Mexican nationality. ***By order of the local government, the hotel will charge a mandatory room tax per night, applicable to guests over 12 years old, to be paid directly at the property: 1 guest $35.19 MXN; 2 guests $58.65 MXN; 3 guests $76.25 MXN; 4 or more guests $87.98 MXN. ***Student Group Policy. Student groups are defined by the hotel as any guest between 16 and 23 years of age traveling together. Requests from student and youth groups will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and will require prior approval from the hotel before confirmation. The minimum entry age is 18. At least one adult aged 25 years or older per room is required to check in. This adult will assume full responsibility for the behavior of the students. The accompanying adult must be the parent or legal guardian, or, if a third party, must submit legal documentation duly signed by the parents or legal guardians. In the event of inappropriate behavior, lack of respect for hotel staff and/or other guests, or physical damage to the facilities, the Hotel Management reserves the right to expel the guest without refund or refund for the remaining nights. In addition, guests will be responsible for covering any costs associated with physical damage to facilities, staff, and/or guests. Access to the hotel's nightclub is provided to guests over 18 years old. The legal drinking age in Mexico, Jamaica, Brazil and the Dominican Republic is 18. Alcoholic beverages are available to all guests over 18 years of age. ***Conditions for individual and group reservations: Individual and group reservations require a refundable deposit of $200.00 USD per room upon check-in to cover any charges, damages, unpaid expenses, losses or fines incurred or for which guests are responsible during their stay. If the damages exceed the deposit of $200.00 USD per room, the full cost of the damage will be charged to the guest's room and will be paid upon departure. If no damage is incurred, the deposit will be refunded. Children's Policy: All guests under 18 years of age will receive a bracelet in an easily identifiable color. In case of damage, alteration or misuse of the bracelet, the minor's guardian will be charged a fine of $450.00 USD or its equivalent in local currency at the current exchange rate. The Hotel Management reserves the right to expel any guest who alters or violates the policies of Iberostar Hotels and Resorts without a refund or refund for the remaining nights, or to contact local authorities if it deems it necessary. ***Spring Break Policy. Iberostar Hotels & Resorts does not accept anyone who is part of a Spring Break group (whether individual or group) at any property or during any time of the year. Spring break is defined as those granted to high school and/or college-age individuals who make reservations together, either as individual or group reservations. Groups without parents or companions over 25 years of age are not allowed. Iberostar Hotels & Resorts reserves the right to refuse check-in to any group or individual who may be considered part of a Spring Break group. ***Infants (0-2.99 years old): Infants stay for free and do not affect maximum room occupancy; however, the minimum contractual occupancy rate for the room will always be charged. ***Cribs: Subject to availability. Prior written notification is required for the hotel's Reservations Department. ***Exclusive honeymoon benefits for newlyweds: bottle of sparkling wine and special Iberostar service; 10% discount on Spa services (advance reservation required; cannot be combined with other offers); Upgrade to the next room category (subject to availability); and daily turndown service. Requirement: Guests must present a marriage certificate (valid within 6 months of the wedding date) upon check-in. ***A group is considered to have a minimum of 10 rooms or 20 guests.
