Casa de São Lourenço - Burel Panorama Hotel, opened in 2018 and is the new and only 5-star Mountain hotel in Portugal, at 1250 m of altitude. It has panoramic views of the Mountain, the Glacial Valley and the village of Manteigas. The property has 17 rooms and 4 suites, all different and panoramic. The unit offers daily guided tours to Burel Factory, a heritage wool factory, where 19th century looms produce woolen products, blankets and burel, a typical Portuguese fabric whose references go back to the 11th century.
